French Axe is for Showers
Fordouche Baggins snaps this pic for us of an oh-so-aptly titled French Axe Bodyspray display in Paris.
At first you may not notice the genius. Look closer. Read the fine print (click on the image for closer examination).
Note the lovely synergy of language, semiotics, global product and snickering.

Beautiful! I think 'bags take that "Douche Hydration" message as direction for application. Peepee Le POO, indeed!
Now I have to wonder how long it'll take for some wiseass to pop in here with "Hey, I thought this site was called HOT CHICKS with DOUCHEBAGS! I see neither."
Permission to stomp their grapes.....?

Yes, awesome.
Carl Jung is laughing his Synchronistic ass off somewhere in the collective unconscious right now.
The definition of douche in French just isn't enough to stop the Tsunami of funny here.
-They should use the exact same labeling in the US, AXE would sell 2x as much.

Touche! Db1. Quel moment!
Douche la tush!
Love those axe-handle-shaped bottles, which I'm sure have found their way up some collective asses of the gay-persuasion, for all the right ribbed raison d'etre.
Considering how few "bains" the French took in years past, they seem to still be up to their old tricks with newer forms of parfum.
Maybe this is in a French Target store, pronounced, as we have fun doing in the midwest, Tar-jay!
And what's with le mot "Temptation?"

Has anyone noticed the all the yellow sale stickers indicating that either a) the French don't bathe, so don't need this or b) the French don't like crappy cheap perfumes like Axe and tend to stick to actual real perfumes, not bodyspray bull-shit! (I like to think it's it's B)
as some one who was in paris recently the tags are in yellow because apparently its on SPECIAL fuckin DISPLAY (they dont do sales a lot so they might have temporarily lowered the price on that)
jeez and GAMME DOUCHE HYDRATANTE means simply that its a hydrating shower gel, as some one who was there not even 3 months ago this is nothing new, they have special displays like this all the time. this isnt funny.

to those of you who said it's not funny. it is, piss on you. don't take away our infantile snickering that breaks up the monotony of a day in the real world.
As hilarious as this is, this is only the penultimate douchal hygiene (or lack thereof) display...for maximum comedic/mind-searing value, there should be some H/DB comminglers checking out the display. That, my friends, would be truly sublime;)
