if HCwD is still updated through blogger.com then no amount of coding from you (or us) will change how comments show up. i think. i'm a bag after all.

other than that, i set my browser cache to 0 kb (which isn't really 0 kb but it does tell you that the cache is as small as it can get) to make sure comments appear as quickly as possible. sometimes i still have to manually clear the cache to see comments. and sometimes, comments still don't show up until a few hours after no matter what i do on the user side. but not on this site though. it's worked well up to now.
